- PlatformsSky-high heels have been hot for a few seasons now, and the trend is still going strong! From leather platform heels to wedges, cork heels, and platform sandals, it doesn’t matter which kind is your favorite so long as it gives you some height.
Aside from the fact that they make you taller, platforms offer another benefit – they’re often more comfortable than traditional high heels. That’s because platforms raise both the toe and heel of your foot, often offering you more height while keeping your foot flatter than usual. Ideal for clubbing

Gladiators
Both gladiator heels and gladiator sandals are back this season. If you still have a pair from last year, don’t worry – you won’t look out of date if you keep wearing them. If you don’t have any yet, this is one cute fashion trend you might want to try. There are lots of inexpensive gladiator sandals out there if you want to test it out without emptying your wallet.

Rocker-chick Heels
Studs, leather, buckles, zippers, and everything edgy make up the rocker chick heels trend. It’s all about the details when it comes to this trend – look for shoes that have lots of metallic accents, crisscrossing straps, or studs. These look best in black patent or standard leather.
Here are some rock-chick inspired heels I found online for under $100. Not included: a healthy dose of attitude and confidence to pull them off!

Don’t know what kind of shoe you should wear? Here are few tips:
Tennis involves lots of side-to-side motion, therefore you need a shoe that is built for lateral stability. Shoes made specifically for tennis are your best choice, The other type of shoes are dangerously unstable for tennis, often causing severe ankle injuries. There are many brands out there, but Addidas or Nike would be my choice.

Basketball shoes are usually high-cut to prevent a twisted ankle. They are also made to reduce sliding on the court.

What’s about soccer?
Soccer shoes have cleats. They kind of look like softball or football cleats except they don’t have a stub on the toe.
They have stubs on the bottom of the shoe. You aren’t able to wear them if they have a stub on the toe.

For volleyball, you should look for court shoes. Don’t forget to make sure that the sole of the shoe is non-marking and that the shoe can withstand the lateral motion and impact that shuffling on the court inflicts on the shoe.

The best running shoe for you depends entirely on the shape of your foot, your bio-mechanics and on the amount of running you do. Running shoes are designed to protect your feet from the road, provided traction on different surfaces, cushion the landing shock and support your feet.
